Calvin J Li Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce the successful completion of our inaugural Essay Contest "Dreams of My Parents".
We received 55 submissions. The wonderful stories told in these essays touched us deeply.
We selected the following essays for the Awards:
First Place ($1000)

Second Place ($500/each)

Calvin J Li Memorial Foundation, in partnership with Eyre Writing Center (EWC) and United Chinese Americans (UCA), presents an Essay Contest tilted “Dreams of My Parents”. High School students of Asian Pacific decent whose parents are immigrants to North America are encouraged to participate. The first-place winner will be awarded $1000.
